Confirmation has been received from the Mayor of London’s Transform Pocket Parks Community Strand that the Society has been successful in its bid for funding to construct a community garden along the Abbotshall Road fence line as part of the playing field regeneration project.The garden will be a partnership project with the Corbett Residents Association and Community Teachsport who are both providing match funding and will  contain food beds, an orchard, pathways with wild flower borders and seating.Work is due to start on preparing the ground in May and it is anticipated that groups will work on the garden throughout the summer for it to be reading when the main building opens in August/September.
