Visit to the Eltham Park Estate

Pleasant Sunday Afternoon flyer
Westmount Road Methodist Church

On Sunday 28th April, members of the ACS made the short trip to Eltham where the local orchestra (http://www.psaorchestra.uk/) had themed a concert especially for us, featuring music from Corbett’s era.

ACS secretary Ben Honeybone made a speech extending the hand of Corbettian friendship from one Estate to another, and after the concert local historian John Kennett led a walk where he explained the history and pointed out architectural highlights. Ben will lead a walk of his own on 7th July, based on info gleaned from John. Please get in touch if you’d like to attend.

A new one on me – the signature Corbett keystone is replaced by a mini plaster mould on this Eltham Park house
