A year and a half after it premiered in The Fellowship cinema, Another Catford is still pulling in big audiences. On Monday 8th June there was a free screening at the Catford House pub (formerly the Catford Constitutional) and we were very pleased to welcome newly-elected Green Party councillor Daniel Dream who joined Jon and Ben for a Q&A after the show.

Daniel is the council Cabinet Member responsible for regeneration in Catford, and for the first time since the film came out we felt that someone in a position of power was really engaging with the issues it raises, and more importantly willing to respond to questions from an audience of concerned Catford residents.

We’re hopeful that there will be an even bigger event in the near future where the Mayor and other key figures will watch the film and have a frank public debate about the future of Catford. Watch this space!
